There is work being done on my house and it was too noisy to write and then I went to a cafe and *they* were having work done on the interior and then I headed to another cafe but I had to wait ten minutes for a train to pass first and then I finally made it to the cafe and the guy sitting next to me was SNIFFLING so I had to move to another seat but I finally got 1035 done.

We all got hit by the same curse today, apparently, because I also tried not one, not two, but three different places to work and none of them worked out! So I walked home in the rain and sat on my bed to write.

Haha, I also went to a coffee place and was sitting next to a guy who couldn't stop moving his legs. So annoying! But I love writing in coffee shops.

Good morning. I just finished 1,198 words that came smoothly. The scene is progressing. As for the past, before the scene obsessions: there are several connections in what I'm doing now to events that had happened years a generation before. That parallel is the point here, so thanks, Jami, for pointing at this marker in the road. Cheers!

Let me go first as I finished writing this morning and I'm based in Europe. I wrote 1300 words and I have decided to continue this daily until the end of my trip in Athens, end of April.

I did it! 1056 words on day 5, even though it was a more tedious churn to get there. And one of my fellow writers in my writing group joined me on this journey - together we wrote over 10,000 words these past five days. What a thrill! With humble gratitude, thank you Jami! 🙏🏻

1,008. Running to my car to drive 3 hours for a meeting, but had to get this in before I left. I don't care if I'm late, I can't stop now. I wish I had time to knock out 2,000 more, because I'm feeling it today. But at least I can say I started a new section and am looking forward to seeing where it takes me during the rest of this week. Thanks again, Jami!

This morning was a struggle but I got it done - 1030 words!

sluggish brain again this morning, but not as bad as yesterday. I think I'm over thinking this edit! I keep worrying I'm going to somehow make my novel worse, which is one of those worries that's hard to brush off...even though it's probably unlikely! 1019 words, so let's celebrate that.

Ok! 1052 words! That was a great way to get some background/history down and while it will need a lot more work, I have the basics there.

1287 today. I may go back and add more. I feel incomplete with this scene but kiddo got home from school so this where I have to end for now.

I wrote 1,202 words on a plane flying over the Atlantic late last night and intended to comment and then got to my hotel and fell right to sleep, so here I am, a day late! I wrote a backstory to a part of my memoir, even though it will likely never make it into the book. It felt good to write it out, to give that depth to what will make it into the book. It felt good to write, not for the sake of the project, but for the sake of the writing.

1035 words! A fictional letter. But it was hard, especially since I couldn't find the time to write until the very end of the day. It was barely there. Though I was inspired to use Copilot for generating some ideas which helped a lot.

And that's going to be all for today. Ioud interrupts interrrupted my flow and broke me. No I don't have luxury of going anywhere outside the home or any where in the home.

1038. Started in the morning and finished just now. 💪🏼
