1188 words on how I ended up in San Francisco. I am impressed especially after an exhausting day at work and...election day! But made it and feeling good about my own accountability.
Okay, I'm stopping at 1,111 words for today and I'm happy it's not midnight (yesterday I finished with 8 minutes to spare- I am bound and determined to hit all 7 days). Thank you for the prompts, Jaime...while I didn't dig into yesterday's, today's gave me a perfect direction to take a concept I was unsure how to include; the weather made for a perfect metaphor. And I did weave in some dialogue today. See you in the AM tomorrow!
I spent the entire day working on an overdue essay and ended up writing about 2500 words, I see now that it's turned in, not including the 1000 plus words I wrote and cut. (Does this make up for my missing the first day of the mini due to travel?)
Got off to a slow start this week, but I’m still in the hunt. Last time I did a stream-of -consciousness attempt. This time I’m actually writing stories. Taking longer but I’m doing it.

1,009 so far, but with a session this evening I think I can extend that. Four days in a row; feeling blessed. And the weather cues were spot on Jami. My protagonist just woke to a blue sky and ground frost, but even if the weather is renewed and optimistic, he’s a long way from better. Still, it’s a start… Very surprised and grateful for the burst of energy this group is giving me and my writing. :-)
I didn't get all the words before my eyes started closing. I did get a good start on my next newsletter edition.

Was revise-writing this morning. Not sure how many words I got, but the chapter is moving forward. So I’ve got that going for me!
Making great progress now on the novel in progress. #1000words really helps motivate me.
