1001, and that was a real stretch today, but I'm feeling like I know what's going on in this book for the moment.

I can't remember the last time someone said they were proud of me. Thanks for that. I'm proud of you and your accomplishments, too, Jami. Now, off for those 1000 words. Cheers.

Wow, halfway through. I've been writing steadily, purposefully. Yesterday, I told my daughter, well, I did another 1150 words today, but very rough, & she said, but they're still words.

Thanks, Jami. I like that, making spaciousness for ourselves through writing. I believe that, have experienced the way my words alter me. Today there are 1,362 more of them in the world. BTW, I write on a laptop, not with pen/paper. That went away a long time ago. Yes, there is a different voice when one uses the instruments we learned on, a slower rhythm. But on the laptop my fingers and my mind work in harmony. Anyway, it's going great, more and more insights every day and I'm having fun.

Definitely feeling a loosening in the knots that have kept me from showing up to a blank page lately. It's not that I didn't already know these things happen *in* the process (not *before* the process). I do trust that. I just haven't trusted myself *with* that. My word count and my confidence both grew a little more today 🙂

Getting into emotional stuff in my writing. The kinda stuff I don’t like discussing. I’m really glad no one has to see it.

Thanks, Jami. Spaciousness is a word I hear myself using often. Spaciousness for my stories and for my healing. Today I wrote 1032 words. Not especially brilliant but every word captured creates more room for my soul to stretch out and speak and be witnessed. Not one wasted word. <3

I woke up early today and picked up my beloved notebook and pen to write a list of scenes I want to write that will bring my story to the crescendo end of this section. And then I read your letter about writing in a notebook. Okay, I recognize our connection and my practice is validated. Thank you.

Loving today’s invitation to create spaciousness in and with our writing. I wrote my 1,000 from a plane in mid-flight today, as I embark on the longest trip I’ve ever taken away from my child, which feels apropos.

1,454 words, that was a tough one! Hit the mid-point and had to stick with it, so I let one character write a letter to another character. It was funny, kind, and totally felt like freedom -- and perhaps a little portal. Great letter today, thanks, Jami! #mini1000

1198 words. I just sat at my computer to write, thinking that this might be hard. But I found the freedom. Thank you!
