Hi everyone!
I need to kickstart my novel. Perhaps you have something you’d like to be working on, too? Let’s do it together! February 7-February 12. One thousand words a day.
Same rules as always: these emails will be quick and dirty. The comments will be open, and I will be looking at them and posting my count there. I won’t be on twitter in February, but I know some folks connect there, too. Or maybe you just want to quietly participate at home. Do what you need to do to — I respect it all!
If you no longer want to participate, please feel free to unsubscribe. There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
Otherwise, I will see y’all soon.
Jami
I don’t want to do this, and I am coming up with lots of reasons not to do it, and I don’t have time, and it frightens me. So, I am doing it.
This is JUST what I need right now.
While I'm at it, I realize there probably aren't many people looking at the comments on a post from several days ago, but I was wondering if anyone else struggled with the following: I often lately have had a desire to write, but seemingly nothing to write about.
I'm just taking first tentative steps into fiction, but feel I have no ideas. And I've tried doing some essays, and the tank feels pretty empty there, too. I write professionally, but it's usually shorter new-related pieces, so doing stuff like this is a bit of a change of pace.
Basically wondering if anyone has good tips for getting uncorked when they're totally stopped up like this!
