1045 this morning + started a comic that will help me get through my broken mini (pinky) toe. It was so nice to take this time and nerd out on words, a momentum I'll carry with me as I switch to revising for the next few weeks. Thanks, Jami! I may not have mounted up my words, but I did write the first chapter of part three of my novel in progress. Beginning a new part is daunting for me. But now that I see progress, I can do it.

Today more descriptive words for a scene from a family wedding for my memoir and more words about grief. I found a book on my kindle I forgot was there Tell it Slant about writing memoir. After reading the first chapter I already have many more good ideas for expansion ! 1068 words today
1,022 today, on a new subject/what I think could be a new story. It wasn't as compelling to me as what I worked on the past few days. I kept wanting to stop but pushed on, and in the last 200 words, it got spicy! I am really grateful for your letter today, Jami, and for the warm encouragement to keep going. Thank you.
1358 words on a new subject that is both fascinating and intimidating...working on just getting the words and thoughts down without judgment, and hoping it might go somewhere. We'll see.
