Day 4, Fall 2024 Mini 1000

Hi friends.

Today we will write 1000 words. Together. Because we have a beautiful little story to tell. Even if it is dark, even if it has imperfections, our story has a reason for being. And, to me, that is beautiful.

Can we, for a moment, see how what we are writing is beautiful? Can we channel it? Can we hone in on why what we are writing is special? And let’s all let that power our 1000 words.

What I wish for us all today is laser focus. For things to get very quiet and calm in our heads and in our life. So all we can see are the words on the page and what we need to do with them. To tell the best story we can. You will be where you are (out there on this planet, mostly America, but other places, too) and I will be where I am (New Orleans) and beautifully, serenely, effortlessly we will write these words.
